{"id":141,"date":"2019-03-21T03:33:31","date_gmt":"2019-03-21T03:33:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orsnz.org.nz\/ENR\/?p=141"},"modified":"2019-03-22T03:10:16","modified_gmt":"2019-03-22T03:10:16","slug":"enr-epoc-autumn-risk-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/orsnz.org.nz\/ENR\/2019\/03\/21\/enr-epoc-autumn-risk-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"ENR \/ EPOC Autumn Risk Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Wednesday, May 1 2019, the ENR SIG of the ORSNZ in conjunction with the Electric Power Optimization Centre is running a day-long workshop at the University of Auckland on risk averse and stochastic modelling frameworks applied to energy or resource planning\/operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite presentations on topics including (but not limited to):<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>hydro-thermal scheduling;<\/li><li>investment planning; and<\/li><li>modelling risk in multi-period settings.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Call for abstracts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to present at this workshop, please submit an abstract (300 words or less) to <a href=\"mailto:a.downward@auckland.ac.nz?subject=Abstract submission for ENR\/EPOC Risk Workshop\">Tony Downward<\/a> by 5pm April 12.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Registration<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration to the workshop is free; please <a href=\"mailto:a.downward@auckland.ac.nz?subject=RSVP ENR\/EPOC Risk Workshop\">RSVP to Tony Downward<\/a> by April 22.
