Submissions from students and practitioners are greatly encouraged. Abstracts should be 200 words or fewer and are to be submitted as plain text (not a PDF file) through <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=orsnz17\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EasyChair<\/a><\/strong>. If you have an EasyChair account, even if it was for another conference, please login with your username and password. In case you don&#8217;t have an EasyChair account, please follow the instructions to sign up for an account. Please <em>do not<\/em> email abstracts to the conference organisers. Oral presentations will be 20 minutes in length (15 + 5 for questions). All abstracts will be considered by the conference committee, and the authors notified of their acceptance or otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>Notification of abstract acceptance or otherwise may take\u00a0between 1-3 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Note that if you wish to be eligible for the Young Practitioners&#8217; Prize you must submit a full paper (max 12 pages) and meet the criteria detailed <a href=\"http:\/\/orsnz.org.nz\/conf51\/prizes\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ORPapers\">Guidelines for Preparation of OR, Analytics and Management Science Papers<\/h3>\n<p>Traditionally, the ORSNZ have published proceedings of their conferences. Therefore, we give you the option to submit (through EasyChair) a paper of at most 12\u00a0pages. Guidelines for preparation of the final papers are available for both Word and Latex. Please download the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.orsnz.org.nz\/confsupport\/ORSNZPaperGuide.doc\">Word Guidelines Document<\/a>\u00a0if you want to prepare your paper using Word. A PDF version of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.orsnz.org.nz\/confsupport\/ORSNZPaperGuide.pdf\">Guidelines Document<\/a>\u00a0is available to those who plan to use a different word processor. For Latex users we have prepared a style file and sample document. It is in this\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.orsnz.org.nz\/confsupport\/ORSNZLatexGuide.zip\">Latex Guidelines archive<\/a>, which includes the necessary style files. Please refer to the README.txt file for installation instructions.
