Abstract

An important matter in the management of some major city bridges is the specification of the direction of its lanes in each time period of a given planning horizon. We propose a dynamic model of this problem, which turns out to be a discrete time positive system with side constraints. On the basis of the model, we formulate and discuss an optimal control problem for the scenario.
