Abstracts should be&nbsp;<strong>250 words&nbsp;<\/strong>or fewer and are to be submitted as plain text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Presentations will be&nbsp;<strong>20 minutes in length (15 + 5 for questions)<\/strong>. Glenn Building<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public Transport: The University of Auckland is well connected to main public transport routes. Further information is available from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/at.govt.nz\/\">Auckland Transport<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accommodation: Attendees are responsible for finding and booking their own accommodation.&nbsp;There are many options within walking distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prizes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ORSNZ Young Practitioners\u2019 Prize (YPP)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OR practitioners and students who are within 5 years of graduation on the first day of the conference (20 November 2025) are invited to compete for $1000 of prizes in the ORSNZ Young Practitioners\u2019 Prize competition. There will be two prize categories: paper and presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Entrants must abide by the <a href=\"https:\/\/orsnz.org.nz\/orsnzprizes\/#YPP\">YPP Prize rules<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>YPP papers and presentations can be co-authored as long as the main author has YPP status. Multiple authors with YPP status can enter their paper jointly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Papers should be a maximum of 10 pages (not including references), and must be submitted to conference@orsnz.org.nz by the stated deadline. Refer to the paper guidelines in <a href=\"https:\/\/orsnz.org.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ORSNZPaperGuide_2025-4.docx\">Word<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/orsnz.org.nz\/conf57\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2025\/10\/ORSNZ_template.zip\">LaTeX<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No award will be made if there are no suitable entries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">John A. George Memorial Prize (JAG)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conference delegates may also optionally have their presentations considered for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/orsnz.org.nz\/orsnzprizes#JAG\">JAG prize<\/a>. This prize is awarded annually for the best application of OR for improving lives.
