International Workshop on Planning of Emergency Services

OSHA announces the ‘6th International Workshop on Planning of Emergency Services’ that will be held Feb 17-19th 2020. This event is sponsored by ORSNZ and hosted by the University of Auckland.

OSHA would like to invite researchers and practitioners worldwide to sign up for this workshop. Participants may expect an informal setting where they can openly discuss the opportunities and challenges for emergency services worldwide. The event includes some excellent keynote speakers: Prof. Shane Henderson (Cornell University) and Prof. Peter Taylor (University of Melbourne), as well as a visit to St John Ambulances HQ.

Healthcare analytics stream at ORSNZ conference

The ORSNZ just announced their conference held 2-3 December 2019 in Auckland. As the SIG for Healthcare Analytics, we’d like to organise a streams on healthcare topics.

In order to align with the theme of this year’s conference, influencing policy-making with evidence-based modelling, we are planning one session on healthcare policy, and another session on healthcare operations.

Should you be interested, please follow the standard protocol for abstract submission, and in addition let us know you want to be scheduled one of the healthcare sessions by including the keyword OSHA and sending an email to
